San Sebastian - Week Twenty-three

Hi family!

Soooo how is everyone? Who knew the olympics was on! We saw it on a tv we passed the other day, guess it's not really a big deal here in Spain haha no one has talked about it.

ALSO I GOT MY VALENTINES PACKAGE. BEST DAY EVER. And yes I ate all the Munsons already. judge me I dare you. THANK YOU. We put up all the decorations. I'll send pics.

So this week was good! I'll be honest I don't remember much of what happened haha. But I'll try. So Monday and Tuesday we had a two day conference with our President. It was absolutley incredible. It was really good to help all of us refocus. I love being with a bunch of missionaries as well. It just made me feel so blessed to be here on a mission. It just helped me realize all the ways I can become a better, more consecrated missionary.  It is really the best decision I have ever made. The mission is the best.

Also mom.. I met elder Ballam! It was weird, because we both realized we were related.. but we have no idea how. And we couldn't figure it out. But it's weird cuz he knows Kaths family really well. It was fun to talk to him though. Also we took a picture together, don't worry. Also he said he lives where we used to live in Logan? On that bench part? Give me some details on that...

So I dont know if I told you about Bisente yet, he's a new investigator. He's from Bolivia and about 23. We met with him last week and he was super interested. We taught the restoration and he asked a bunch of questions and had a lot of animo about reading the Book of Mormon. We're meeting with him again tonight and are super excited about it. Hopefully we can get him a baptism goal soon.

So our Peruvian family came to church again on Sunday, so they are able to be baptized. We took the bishop with us last night to our cita with them and it was incredible. The boys have decided they want to be baptized on March 1st!! The mom wants to be baptized as well, but she hasn't been able to come still to church because of her job. The bishop promised them that if they pray morning and night this entire week to be able to be baptized as a family, as well as fast all together for it this coming Tuesday, that God would give them a miracle. So HOPEFULLY their whole family can be baptized together on the 1st. The only bummer is, I think I'm being transferred this week. I've been here 6 months so most likely I'm out. I was almost in tears last night thinking I won't be here to see their baptism. It breaks my heart. I love that family so, so much. But the important thing is they are being baptized. Gosh, they really are incredible. The boys LOVE church. The older one brought a backpack last week with his Book of Mormon in it and his hymn book to be prepared for church. So cute. I feel so blessed to be able to teach them.

Also this week we went an hour away on train to visit a menos activo. When we got there, she introduced us to a spainard friend of hers! A cute little 60 year old woman who is super interested in reading the Book of Mormon. She even said to us, who knows, maybe I'll even become a Mormon someday! Way cool. We've been trying to focus on working with our less active members lately to find people to teach, so that was a cool miracle that her friend came.

Anyway, that's all really, Max finally returned from his trip so we will see him tomorrow. He told us he went to go to church in France though! So that's good. He's progressing still. I'll keep you posted.

So next week are transfers! I think I'm out of here.. we will see! I'll email on Tuesday though, not Monday. I LOOOVEEEEE YOU AALLLLL!

San Sebastian - Week Twenty-two

Hi everyone!

How was the week? It's cold here, but not as cold as there I don't think haha. It hasn't snowed here yet. But it did nearby. Apparently the weather and wind was so bad here the other day that it destroyed a bridge. Crazy right? Missed it though.

So this week was pretty uneventful. In fact, I don't have much to say at all haha. Monday we had a great FHE with Jeudi and a family here. He loved it. It was way fun. It's nice when the investigators start to bond with the members! We've been trying to focus on getting more members with us to our visits. It helps a ton. Also I got sick this week. Super bad. I wasn't feeling well the whole beginning of the week and then Friday I woke up with a fever of 104.  Rough. I had super bad stomach issues too. We called the Presidents wife and she helped us know what meds to buy and stuff, but we were in piso for three days without leaving. My poor companion. It was rough haha. Luckily we had some church videos from the 80s to watch for part of it. I feel better today though, so I'm guessing the worst of it is over. Don't worry mom, my companion took really good care of me!

So as far as investigators go, the Peruvians couldn't come to church on Sunday, so were gonna have to move their baptism to the week after. I was pretty bummed about that, but it happens. Also Max decided to go to France haha. He went on a trip with his niece and will return in about a week and a half so his baptism date will be put off as well. Besides that, nothing else is new really haha. Sorry, not an exciting week to write about.

San Sebastian - Week Twenty-one

HIIII FAMILY!

How are you? I miss you guys! Thanks for all the videos mom, I love seeing those. Also Austin is so manly now. willlldddd. SO this week was good! It rained every single day this week, makes me feel like I'm in CT again. Somedays it's super cold but some days it's not so bad, we're surviving okay. Especially cuz of my sweet rainboots gracias a TYLA. The best!

So we saw some pretty amazing miracles this week. So I think last you heard, our goal was to focus just on church attendance with Max because I think the goal of a baptism made him too nervous. Well turns out, he gave himself a goal to be baptized on the 8th haha. But something happened with him, he totally has been improving a ton. I think he's finally decided for himself that he wants to be baptized, without feeling the need to seek approval of other people. I think we saw him almost every day this week. He's been reading and praying super consistently, and all week long he told us he was going to come to church for sure. Towards the end of the week, we asked if he would like a blessing. He's been trying to stop smoking and has been doing pretty well. He used to smoke packs a day, but now he's down to one or two a day. On Saturday, Elder Green (who knows Cooper btw) gave him a blessing to help him to quit smoking for good. Before the blessing Elder Green told him that Christ always told people that blessings work according to our faith. The blessing was really incredible. After the blessing, Max told us he felt really good, really different. The next day, he called us right after he woke up and told us normally when he wakes up he wants to smoke really bad, but when he woke up, he had ZERO desire to smoke. He was so so excited. He's been trying to stop for 11 years I think and hasn't been able to.  We met with him that day and in his prayer he said something like "thank you for this day, it is a very special day because I have finally quit smoking, thank you for my sisters, and I know the Book of Mormon is true". It was super tender. Also he came to church finally! He was so excited he showed up an hour early haha. He lives like 5 minutes from the building.. We were way excited to see him. The ward really welcomed him too. He's so close to baptism! Keep him in your prayers. He's been such a big miracle for me. I've really loved watching his conversion. He's progressing a ton.

Oh also, our Peruvians came to church! The mom didn't, cuz she works on the weekends, but the dad and the two boys came right when church started yesterday. It was a miracle. Getting people to church is one of the hardest things as a missionary, so seeing them show up was huge! They loved it too, the boys had a blast. Both the boys have a baptismal date for the 8th as well, so keep them in your prayers!

I can't think of a whole lot else this week. Thursday (Jeudi) is still doing well and hopefully we will have his baptism the 8th as well. Keep your fingers crossed! We're seeing tons of miracles up here. I'm loving it. It's cool to see how much my faith grows as I see the faith of my investigators grow. There's no better feeling than watching your investigators progress. I love it.

PS. blueberries are super expensive here. the worst right? I just realized I haven't had blueberries in six months. sensitive.

Haha anyway, I'm loving the mission! It's super fun to be here. Hermana Woodbury and I are having a blast together. Working hard, and soaking wet!

San Sebastian - Week Twenty

Hiiiii everyone!

How's everyone this week? So happy San Sebastian day! Apparently today is some huge holiday in SanSe. Still not sure what it is really. But basically, the entire town dressed up in these strange clothes (pics to follow) and  drummed around the city.. for 24 hours straight. They started last night at midnight and they have different groups going around for the next 24 hours playing instruments and drumming... nonstop. It's wild. Needless to say I didn't sleep last night haha, it was pretty loud outside of our piso. Way cool though. These people have such SanSe pride I love it. We went to watch our friend Javi play with his group this morning, it was super fun. Except it poured. and hailed haha. That always makes it better..  the bummer is everything is closed here today.. Evvveerrryything haha so no shopping for us.. the worst.. probably better though right?

Anyway, this week was good! We had some way good stuff. Miracle man is progressing well. Found out his name, Jeudi.. means Thursday in french haha. So I'm gonna call  him Thursday from now on. But we taught him the plan of salvation and it blew his mind. He loved it. He came to church on Sunday too and brought his girlfriend. So that was like the best thing ever. We're really excited to keep teaching him, he's reading and praying too. So keep him in your prayers!

We also had a great lesson this week with two of our investigators John and Gladys. We hadn't seen them in forever cuz they are super busy, but they finally had time this past week so we went to teach them the restoration. They LOVED it. It was great. The only thing is she works Sundays so she can't come to church, although I think shes got next Sunday off so they are gonna try to come together. They are really awesome. Two very prepared people. I don't remember if I told you this about them but last time they let us over John told us he doesn't usually answer the door for people like us but he felt like we were different so he let us in. They both really need the gospel in their lives, I'm excited to keep teaching them.

So one of our other investigators, Elizabeth from Nigeria, had a baptismal date for this weekend. She  was so ready and everything, progressing super well, and coming to church consistently.. the only thing is, she's living with her boyfriend. So we taught her the law of chastity and surprisingly it went pretty well. She totally agrees it's something she needs to be living and she said she felt at peace when we were teaching her about it. It's hard to get married here though, from what I've heard. It costs a lot and takes time. So I think that'll delay her baptism a while. Which I'm super bummed about,  but it happens sometimes.

Our Peruvian family is doing well, we taught their boys the plan of salvation and they loved it. They are reading and praying all the time together as a family. They always have questions for us and are eager to be baptized. They struggle money-wise to get to church, and the mom still works Sundays, but I think the dad and boys are gonna try and make it this next week. So pray for them!

Also Max... he's all over the place lately. The latest is that his mom told him again that he can't be baptized because he already was in his church. We talked to him last night and reassured him again. Our goal is to help him get to church first, and then we will talk about baptism. He's just so nervous about it all, and keeps finding excuses to not come to church, so were gonna help him through it, one Sunday at a time. He brought us pictures he painted though.. I attached them. Haha super funny. He's great.

San Sebastian - Week Nineteen

Hey Everyone!

How are you all this week? My week was super good. As always. I love it here. I can't believe I've been here so long haha. I just realized I'll have spent a third of my mission here by the time I leave. I know this place like the back of my clammy hand. haha jk, my hands aren't clammy anymore. ANYWAYYY, life is good! It's still decently warm here in SanSe which is way weird, but I'm not complaining.

SO Max. Let me tell you, we've been on a rollercoaster with him this week. I think last you heard he was super pumped about baptism. Well the day after, he asked to meet us at the church cuz he had 30 new questions for us. Well, as well, he had a note for us that said he was going to the anglican church instead. He said he didn't know why, but his head was telling him he should go there. Strange right? Well, we started answering his questions, but ran out of time cuz we had another cita. He told us he was still going to come to church with us though.. we went to get him for church and someone he lives with told us he was sick and wasn't coming. We were way bummed. He texted us later that day and told us he would meet with us later in the week when he felt better.. and that he was still thinking about being baptized. Haha Max is all over the place. I think he's just nervous about making the wrong decision. We´re gonna help him out though, well see him this week again and clear it all up.

Also, Shan asked about Onome.. shes doing good! It was weird cuz we hadn't heard from her or been able to get ahold of her for a whole month basically. She fell off the face of the earth. Turns out she was super busy changing pisos and this that and the other, but now shes got her life settled again and seems super happy. She came to church Sunday and said she's got a goal to go every Sunday. She's doing well. Also funny story, in the middle of our lesson with her the other day she interrupts me and goes, excuse me, sorry.. but Hermana Woodbury.. why are you so white? haha. Super funny. WE ARE PALE WHERE'S SUMMER.

Also Helen, idk if I've told you much about her, but shes from Mexico. She's awesome. She literally loves us. We taught her the Restoration and she loved it! The only thing is she works Sundays now. (this happens alllll the time) so she can't come to church, but she's way excited to learn more. God will provide a way for her to come to church, if she demonstrates her faith. Also her moms being taught by the missionaries in Mexico right now too. Way sweet.

Our miracle man Jeudi is doing super well too, we had a lesson with him and he's got a goal to be baptized. He's reading and progressing really well.

Also the other day we contacted this girl on the street and asked if we could share a message with her and she said no, laughed, and literally ran away. Haha people are so strange sometimes.

Also the other day we met with Joseph, and during the lesson I asked him how he knows that God loves him. He told us it's because God sent us to him. He told us the night we found him in the street he had thought about traveling to another city to see his sister but ended up not going. But he told us he's so glad he found us. He's incredible. I feel bad for the guy, he's got a lot of struggles in his life. He told us he's still struggling, but ever since he's been baptized he feels calm now. He has a lot more peace. There's so much power to baptism. I don't think I realized before my mission how incredibly important and life changing it can be. It's such an incredible blessing we have in this life.

Also we got locked out this morning without keys or a phone. It was an adventure. I sent a voice recording about it though haha. Handled it like a champ. Anyway, that's all really, for this week. I love the mission! Were having a blast.

San Sebastian - Week Eighteen

Hey Fam! How is everyone this week? I don't know why but this week seemed like dayzzzz. A bunch of awesome things happened, but it was really long too. Strange. Anywaaay.... I'm still in San Sebastian! Haha. I'm staying another transfer. Wild right? That'll mean I'll have spent 6 months here by the time I leave. Hermana Woodbury and I were super pumped when we found out we had another transfer together. We have so much fun together. Literally loling for dayz up here.

Anyway, this week we saw tons of miracles. Incredible. The first was last Tuesday. For some reason we left piso a little early, and walked to our first cita. We realized we had extra time, so we contacted people on the way. It was way funny cuz the first 5 or 6 people we contacted wouldn't even stop to hear us speak, they'd just say thanks and keep on walking without skipping a beat. Strange people. Anyway, as we walked to the church, we decided to walk a different road than we normally do. We contacted this guy and asked if we could share a message with him (like we do with everyone) and he said yeah okay, where? Both Hermana Woodbury and I were kind of shocked. That never happens. I looked over at Hermana Woodbury not knowing what to say and she goes, well uh, that bench right there? haha. So we sat down with this kid. He's 23 and from Dominican Republic. I can't pronounce his name. But it's something like Jeudi or Algo. Idk. We always just call him miracle man. Haha. I've had him repeat it to me like 3 times and I still didn't get it. The struggles of life.

Anyway, while we were talking, he told us that earlier that morning he had been praying to God to help him, to give him more direction in his life. He talked about how much evil he sees around him and knows he should be going to a church, he basically told us he was searching for the truth. Then he left his apartment and started walking and then we stopped him to talk to him, so he took that as a sign. Hermana Woodbury and I sat there with our jaws dropped. It was incredible. It's just amazing how when you're doing what you're supposed to, God places people in your path. It wasn't like we had some major prompting to walk that road, or to even talk to him. I just have such a testimony that if you're doing the right thing, and being exactly obedient, God will place people in your path and the spirit will guide you. Anyway, he came to church on Sunday and we met with him again yesterday. He's really excited to read the Book of Mormon. I'm excited to see him progress!

Also we had a baptism! Joseph from Congo, who we've been teaching for about three weeks got baptized on Saturday. It was super good. The elders baptized a little girl that night too. This ward is coming alive, we've seen some really great stuff lately. I feel like we are finally seeing the fruits of our labors up here, we feel so blessed. We are going to see some great stuff this month. We have a lot of people that are ready to get in that font!!!

Oh also, another miracle. SO max. This is a good one. So early in the week we met with him and taught him about tithing and fasting. In the middle of our lesson he goes, I'm sorry, can I interrupt? Haha he always does that. But he said that his mom is okay with him being baptized! We were so excited! We had been fasting for his moms heart to be softened. So we planned for him to be baptized for the 18th. Then about three days later, he calls us and says hes moving to Ukraine. (I think it was Friday, and he told us he bought the plane ticket and everything for Monday) I have never been so sad. We were absolutely devastated. The only thing that helped me to not be sad was knowing that some Ukrainian missionaries would be super happy to find out that Max would come, ready to get in that font. Well, then a few days later haha, he calls us again and says that in the end he's not moving haha. Yeah, and you all thought I was indecisive..

So he's staying! He says hes leaving in February, but we will see. He's got a baptismal date for the 25th right now. He's been taught everything, he's just gotta start coming to church, he's so nervous to meet people. But he's so great. Last night we met with him and he looked at me with the biggest smile and said, "I'm so glad you knocked on my door". My heart just melted. I remember that night so well, the first time we met him. I want to see him baptized so bad. He told us he feels so peaceful in the church, he loves meeting with us. After we got back to piso last night he sent us a text and said "thank you, I guess I've found a big family". He's the best. Such a miracle. It's just another example of someone searching for the truth that was put in our hands.

Anyway, I am loving it here. We had some other great stuff, but that was the gist of it. Also I ate gulas again. Be proud. It was a rough round 2. We had a fun new years and new years eve with the members and the elders. I'm super excited to be sticking around another 6 weeks. I love you family! I hope you have a great week!

San Sebastian - Week Seventeen

How is my favorite favorite? Who am I?

I'm being mom. Go Tyson! (I'm just guessing you guessed it)

Anyway, how is everyone! I cant believe I talked to you this week FOR REAL. That was the best thing ever. Except it feels like forever ago that that happened. And it sort of feels like it was a dream. But I LOVED IT. I hope you all had a great Christmas! Mine sure was different, but super awesome. Spain isn't big on the whole Christmas thing here so it mostly felt like a normal day. After I got off skype with you we headed to a members house to eat.. and then again to another members house to eat.. again. Yeah we about died. But it was way fun. We ate Nepali food that night, i sent a pic. It was super strange.. but still good haha.

Sooo were gonna have a baptism this week! His name is Joseph. He's from Congo. We found him on the street. He yelled at us actually haha so we started talking to him. He's way good, super prepared. We met him about three weeks ago, he came to church twice, and now hes getting baptized! We're really excited. He's really prepared, he's got a lot of faith and is super believing. I am excited.

Also, another miracle this week was with a woman named Helen. We found her a few weeks back knocking doors. At the time she told us she'd call us cuz she was super busy and didn't have time.. we get that excuse a lot so I was worried we would never see anything out of it. But the other day we called her and she let us stop by. She's from Mexico and her 15 year old son was there. It made me miss Studda a ton. She was way cute, she kept telling us how much she liked what we were sharing and asked if she could come to church with us the next day! We picked her up that next morning, it was awesome! On the way there, this woman walks up behind me.. and I realize its Elizabeth (one of our investigators from Nigeria that we haven't been able to get ahold of in weeks!) She was just on her way to the church too! No big deal.. I was about to die right then and there I was so excited! Normally it's SO hard to get investigators to church... you gotta drag them out of bed basically. But Elizabeth was coming all on her own without even having talked with her in so long! She's so great. Both women were super welcomed by the Ward, it was great. Elizabeth wants to be baptized too. So were pumped to make that happen. I think Helen will want to be baptized too.. she kept asking how long people have to come to church before they are baptized. She's so cute, you'd love her. She thinks were so cool cuz were from America and speak English haha. Sunday was a miracle, I love when our investigators make it to church. It's the best. Oh and Joseph was there too, of course.


Also sad news with our Peruvian family. They have been searching for Jobs cuz they don't have money to come to church.. well the mom found a job, but it's for all day Saturday and Sunday.. gah. The worst right? We didn't know what to do. We have been praying for them so hard. She wants to be baptized really bad, but their family needs the money too, they don't have anything.. Keep them in your prayers. We told them to keep looking for another job. And to keep praying. I know God will help provide a way for her to be baptized still. It'll just be later than we originally thought. Sort of a bummer, but it happens. It seems a lot of times that Satan is really good at putting just one Little thing in the way of people from getting baptized. I have seen it so many times. But I know that with God´s help, we can see miracles with some of these people.

My companion and I have been praying really really hard for our investigators. We have been working as hard as we know how and are starting to see more success. It's really incredible. I hope I get to stay here another transfer. Also I'll email Tuesday next week (or maybe Wednesday if I get transferred) I love being here. It's definitely not always easy, but it's so worth it. There are so many people waiting for us. I love being front and center to see the Lord´s work. The mission is incredible. Live the gospel. Its such a blessing. LOVE YOU ALL.

San Sebastian - Week Sixteen

Eguberrion!!!!! 

I think that means merry Christmas in Basque. But also I'm not sure. It might mean happy birthday or congratulations too haha. Awkward. JK I just had a basque man check it for me, it's right.  Anyway MERRY CHRISTMAS! I'll be honest, it doesn't feel like Christmas here. It's warm! I was in a long sleeve shirt today, sin chaqueta. People don't celebrate Christmas much here. They do a big dinner on Christmas eve but Christmas is mostly a normal day around here. I CANT WAIT TO TALK TO YOU! So I'm going to call around 3 my time. So 9 am I think your time. (sorry Tyson, it's 7 your time.... but let's be honest you never sleep anyway Christmas eve night) So yeah. THREE. my time. DON'T FORGET IT. jk i know you wont.

Anyway, this week was good! We have good stuff going on up here in SanSe right now. Our Peruvian family that we are teaching is doing so well! They both have goals to be baptized in January. The only thing is, they live super far from the church. They don't have money to come to church every week, cuz they don't have jobs. But they will try every other week. We're gonna go see them Christmas morning. I'm way pumped. We will set dates for their boys to be baptized too. It'll be THE BEST. They are such a miracle family. They read, pray, everything. So prepared.

Also Tyson..I ate completos this week with one of my favorite Chilean families here. I was loving my life. I'll send some pictures. SO BOMB DIGGITY. RED ROBIN YUMMM. I'm in such a good mood, can you tell? haha.

In other news, we have another investigator with a baptismal date for the 4th of January. He's so great . His name is Joseph and he's from Congo. He is so believing. He came to church this Sunday too! He's progressing well. So keep him in your prayers.

So one miracle this week was yesterday two of our citas cancelled  so we went through our list calling people to see who would let us come by. We called a man named John we had contacted a few days earlier and asked if we could stop by to share a message. He said yes, so we went by and we met him and his wife (I think they are married.. we'll find out) anyway, they are way great. He's from Ecuador and she's from Peru. We had a great first lesson with them. They are super believing and super prepared. It was interesting cuz at the end of the lesson, the man told us he never ever opens the door when people like us come by. So we asked him why he let us in, and he told us it's because when we met him, we complimented his Christmas tree in his apartment. He said we seemed different, like we were really people of God. So he agreed to let us come back to meet with them. It's so interesting because I don't even remember complimenting his tree really, but I truly do believe the Spirit works in subtle ways. We always want some big grand sign to know what to do or what to say, but I am a firm believer that if you're doing the right things, the Spirit will guide you in your thoughts and actions. As long as you're doing what you're supposed to, God will put people in your path. We have seen a lot of miracles the past few weeks. Time is flying. I think I've only got 2 more weeks here. Cross your fingers I'm here for one more transfer. I love it here. And I love my companion. We are working so well together. It has been so fun.

Anyway, I'd write more buttttt I GET TO TALK TO YOU IN TWO DAYS! So we will chat then. I love you family! With my whole heart! See you SOOOOOOOONNNN!!!

San Sebastian - Week Fifteen

Hey family! How is everyone? Can you believe Christmas is almost here? We get to talk a week from tomorrow! So a member invited us to their house for Christmas dinner, so we might skype there.. idk yet.. but it'll probably be after five p.m. my time. I can't wait to talk to you all!

So this week was probably one of the best weeks I have had on my mission. The previous two weeks were rough, almost every cita we had for two weeks cancelled on us. We had no idea why. But this week, we saw some great miracles. One of them was that a member called us saying a lady wanted us to meet with her and her family. Her name is Vicky and she's from Peru. We went 40 minutes on a train to her pueblo to visit her and her husband. Apparently her whole family are members of the church. She had been taking the discussions from the missionaries in her country before but her husband wasn't as interested as she was. She's got two boys 13 and 8 years old I think. We had a lesson with them and they were so great! They seem really sincere about their desire to know more about the church. Can you believe it? A family! This is the first family I have found to teach here. I almost cried after that cita. We invited them to our ward Christmas dinner party the next day and they came! I think they had a fun time. They are so cute. We are going back to visit them tomorrow. I hope I'm still around this place to see them baptized!

Also this week, we set three baptismal dates with three different people. Unfortunately, all three fell through. None of them came to church. Buuuutttt it'll happen.. eventually. One of them was with our Ukranian investigator, Max. He's so adorable. He's actually leaving back to Ukraine. But he said he wants to be baptized there. When he told me he was leaving, the first thing he said was "can missionaries come find me and teach me there?", melted my little heart. He is so sincere about his desire to know the truth. We met with him last night and in his prayer, he thanked God for this opportunity to become a Mormon haha. He's great.

So Samuel isn't quite ready to be baptized. He still has lots of questions about everything under the sun. The solution? He just needs to read the Book of Mormon. Once he just reads more and prays about it, all his tiny little questions about this that and the other will be answered. He's stubborn. But I hope he will open his heart enough to really sincerely ask God if the Book of Mormon is true. That's the key.

We had a zone conference yesterday that was so great. I love them so much. We learned a lot about the Book of Mormon and how to use it in our teaching. The Book of Mormon is really the most powerful tool we have. Once investigators are reading in it, they will progress so much more. I love reading in it so much. I've strengthened my testimony so much from reading out of it everyday. I know its true. I cherish it so much.

So yeah, we had a great week! I'll send pics of our ward Christmas party. We had so many investigators show up it was way fun. Everyone brought food from their country and we played games and stuff. Also the other day, I realized this is the best mission ever. Wanna know why?  I have friends and know people from about 20 different countries. It's the coolest. I came all the way to Spain to meet people from almost all the countries in South America, a few in Africa, and some in Europe. THE BEST. Anyway, I love you all! TALK TO YOU SOON

San Sebastian - Week Fourteen

Dearest cute little family of mine,

How is everyone this week? ALSOOOOOO HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE SISSY MANISSY IN THE WORLLDD! I wrote you a letter and sent it last Monday.. so hopefully it gets there soon! I hope you party it up like willlllldddddd!

Anyway, this week was pretty good! We had some sweet things happen this week. First off, while knocking doors one night, I'm pretty sure we found Captain Hook. That was like the best thing ever. He was the strangest, curly long haired man I have ever met. And I'm pretty sure he wasn't all there.. haha but it was funny.

Also, SAMUEL HAS A BAPTISMAL DATE. Remember him? The 19 year old from Colombia that knows the bible like the back of his hand? Last time he told us our church didn't follow the 10 commandments cuz we went to church on Sunday and not Saturday.. so going into this weeks lesson,I prayed so so hard. I wanted to be able to clear things up well. Anyway, we met with him this time and cleared everything up. There are a lot of scriptural references for why we worship Sunday and not Saturday, but all in all, the day isn't really what's important. It's the fact that we have a day to think about the Savior and to take the Sacrament. Spirit of the law over letter of the law.. Also for some reason he kept going back to the authority of Jesus Christ and what that means. I could tell he knows it's something important to have in a church. We told him we could sit and talk about the history of everything all day and explain things all day, but there was one way he could know for sure (we have explained this 1209209824 times but I think this time, it finally clicked) we told him he's gotta read The Book of Mormon. EVERYTHING relies on the truthfulness of that book. We told him God won't lie, he's just gotta study it out, and ask for himself. So he accepted a baptismal date for the 21st as a goal. We are meeting with him tonight too, so keep him in your prayers! He is gonna be such a great member. I want to be here to see his baptism.

Also remember Angelica? She's so cute. She's doing so well. This last time she told us she wants to be baptized. The only thing in the way is her boyfriend. She doesn't want to get married right now so we are kind of stuck. It's super sad, she's so ready. She knows it's all true but she wants to wait. We told her to pray about a marriage, and if it's right for her. So keep her in your prayers too.

Also this parts for Nessa.. so remember how I would never take the bus in Provo? Haha embarrassing.. well I was thinking about that yesterday cuz the other day we met this lady who cleans the floors in our apartment complex and she told us we could come see her but she lives in a pueblo like an hour away. There was something different about her though. My comp and I just knew we needed to see her, even though she lived far. So we hopped on a random bus.. took it to the first stop in some random pueblo way far away, and got off just hoping that a girl we met one time in our building would actually be there. I thought you'd be proud of me. No. Big.Deal. Look at fras, totally owning the bus system in Spain. hasthag that.

Anyway, this girl Kati is super awesome. She's from Ecuador but is here working. She is so ready for the gospel. She has such faith in God and His hand in her life. She is excited to read the book of Mormon and meet with us again. I just feel like she's really prepared. It's really cool to see how God puts people in our lives that are ready for the gospel.

Anyway, things are going well here, we are seeing some good progress. I love my companion, she's so sweet and were are basically the same person, so it's super fun. I hope all is well at home! I love being here! Keep Samuel in your prayers these next two weeks. The gospel is so true, I can see God´s hand in my life every day. The Book of Mormon is so true. I am obsessed with it haha. But really, I feel such peace when I read it. Every time I finish I want to start it over again! Keep Christ close to you always. I love you family!

San Sebastian - Week Thirteen

HEY FAMFAMBAMBAM

Hows everyone? Sounds like Thanksgiving was the bombdiggity.com. haha. I know I sound so weird saying that... but I also know TyTyb2 will appreciate it. So judge me. ANNNYYWAYY this week was good! So my new comps name is Hermana Woodbury, she's from Salt Lake. She's the oldest of 5 and is 21. She's been out one transfer more than me. So our Spanish is pretty much equal. She's super cute and fun. and..... SHE COOKS. Thank the heavens right? How in the world would I survive Thanksgiving AND Christmas only eating pasta? That woulda been the worst. But Thanksgiving was fun! We cooked some turkey, made some mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and tried to make a banana cream pie.. but it didn't work haha.. I'll send pics. It's a lot harder to read pudding directions in Spanish, okay? Also.. I'm not even sure if it was pudding. it was complicated. But it was a good meal. All we were missing were dads rolls... mmm

Anyway, my companion is super awesome. She's SUCH a hard worker, what a blessing. She's super obedient and I'm super stoked to work with her. We are going to see a lot of miracles together up here. (also she goes to Utah State... hint hint... maybe I SHOULD transfer?... haha) Anyway, it has been weird being the experienced one in our area. Little stressful at first, but I'm getting better at it. I'm gonna be such a good planner when I get home.

So we had a pretty good week, not a whole lot to write about because a couple days we were up in Bilbao (waiting for her to come and we had district meeting up there) so our work week here was pretty short. But we had some sweet stuff happen. So we haven't had a whole lot of progressing investigators lately and really wanted to focus on finding more people. Hermana Woodbury decided that she wanted to try knocking our own building. The guy upstairs told us we could come by and share a message with him and his girlfriend another day (he's from Spain and she's from Nigeria). We set up a cita and went back to talk to them about it. He wasn't super interested, but his girlfriend Elizabeth seemed super interested. She told us she would come to church with us Sunday too! And she actually came! Any missionary knows that's like the best thing ever when they actually come to church. We walked together, she is super cute. She stayed for the first two hours, and she actually knew one of the other Nigerian members there, so that was the best.  She told us she wants to come back next week too. So we were pretty pumped about that.

Last night we had some extra time and knocked a building and had the most success I've ever seen in a building. We met a girl from Russia (which is like the best thing ever because I speak Russian... jk.. but my accent is legit. haha) She let us in and we talked for a little bit. She told us there was such a good energy in the room. I love hearing that, its so cool how strong the Spirit is as a missionary.  We told her we had a Russian Book of Mormon and she was super excited and told us we could return again with a book! Way cool. We met some other people too that told us we could come back and share with them again. God is so aware of us and our needs. We have been praying so hard to find people to teach, were talking to everyone, everywhere. Hermana Woodbury is good for me cuz she's got no fear talking to people haha. I'm excited to see what kind of work we can do together while were up here.

So I finished the Book of Mormon for the second time on my mission this past week. I love that book with my whole heart. There is so much to learn from it. It truly is for our day. The words in it are so true. I am so grateful for it in my life. I already re-started it!  Such a blessing.

ALSO We are SUPER excited for Christmas up here. We went to a chino store (basically has everything you'd ever want in your life) and bought stuff. We are hanging paper snowflakes everywhere and have a cute little Christmas tree on our table. I'll send you pics next time when we've got it all together. We want to buy stockings too. Were gonna make it a memorable Christmas!

San Sebastian - Week Twelve

HEY FAMILY!

So for some reason it feels like FOREVER since I've heard from you guys! I'll be honest, this week was kinda rough haha. But that's the mission right? You know the times when you've got all these plans and then everyone cancels? Haha yeah it was one of those weeks. I think it's cuz its pretty cold here too. People don't like to do things in winter. It hasn't snowed yet but it rains almost every day. And it's super windy. But we ploughed through the week.

I think it was also stressful cuz we were anticipating transfers... sad news.. Hermana Benson got transferred. She's going down to Gerona and is opening an area. She's such a champ. I know she will rock it. We came up to Bilbao to stay with some other Hermanas last night and she left this morning. So me and Hernama Swenson (she started with me in the MTC) are here kickin it together till our new comps come in tonight. I'M DYING TO MEET HER. All I know is her name is Hermana Woodbury.. I don't think she's been out that much longer than me though, maybe a transfer or two.. so that could be interesting haha. It's weird thinking about being in San Sebastian without Hermana Benson, all the planning and figuring out is up to me until my new hermana gets the swing of things. Kind of a scary thought haha I better learn to be more decisive...? haha (see what I did there.. I was being indecisive)

Although this week was sorta rough, I learned a lot about tender mercies from God. He is so aware of our needs. One night we had all of our appts fire on us and headed to a relief society party. It was actually a pretty good turnout too. We had one investigator come, and a menos activo showed up too. It was cool because I thought to myself, if it wasn't for us, those two wouldn't be here.. we helped them to want to be here.. it's cool to see the fruits of your labors.  It was a nice blessing from Heavenly Father.

Then on Sunday, we had a lesson with Samuel again. He's a toughie. He goes to some 7th Adventist church.. idk much about it but a lot of things are very similar to our church. He is SUPER knowledgeable about the bible so he's always giving us a challenge haha. But we taught the authority of Jesus Christ and totally cleared it up. I thought for sure he would be golden after that. But then he brought up how in the bible, the sabbath was on Saturday. (idk how much you all know about that.. but they had church on the seventh day (Saturday) until Christ resurrected and then they changed it to the first day) Anyway, he was asking super deep questions about that which I wasn't prepared to answer. Anyway it was just sort of a struggle haha let's leave it at that. So kind of discouraging, but I know we are so close with him. You always hear about converts that say they gave the missionaries a really hard time before it clicked and they were converted. I know he will be such an awesome member. I'm not ready to give up on him. Once he starts reading in the Book of Mormon more and more, he will be golden. Cross your fingers.

Anyway, even though his lesson was kind of discouraging, we went to visit Christina. She really wants to receive an answer about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. We re-explained how the Holy Ghost feels to her and it went really well! She told us she kept expecting something more than that... like the heavens opening and shouting down to her haha but she told us shes gonna start the Book of Mormon again with a new focus and really try to pray for and recognize an answer. Let me tell you, that cita with her was such a blessing. It was such a tender mercy from God to know that we´re doing the best we can. It's the best feeling ever to see your investigators progress. There are so many tender blessings from God in our lives every day, you just have to look for them. He is always there, it's so evident.

Sorry, not a whole lot to say this week. It was kind of a slow week. I'm sad that Hermana Benson is gone, she was kind of like my mom here haha, I'll miss her a ton, but it'll be fun to start a new adventure with a new companion. She gets in tonight and then tomorrow we will head back down to our area.. hope I can find the way home! I love you lots family! I hope you have a fun Thanksgiving! Eat lots of rolls for me!

San Sebastian - Week Eleven

Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK SHANNONN!!!!!

Sounds like everyone had a great week. I LOVED the pictures of Makenna, what a gorgeous baby. She looks just like Tenlee did, with less hair haha. Super cute!

So my week was pretty good. So I've got a "personal progress Fras" moment if you wanna hear it. I ATE OCTOPUS AND ANCHOVIES YESTERDAY. Ok, I know that octopus is a food rich people like.. calamari.. or whatever.. but this was weird. It literally was round circular pieces like the size of a quarter, kinda looked like a banana. BUT it had PURPLE tentacles on the outside. Please, someone be proud of me for eating FIVE yes count them, FIVE pieces of purple, chewy octopus. It was pretty gross. But I did it like a champ. Haha ps the family is from Chile... gooooTtyson! I love them though, they are so sweet, one of my favorites here. The mom told me she will make us completos next time we come!

 Also remember those slimy grey worms I told you about a couple weeks back? Yeah I found out that's eel.. I better get some real Fras points today.. winninggggg

Anyway we had a good week! Onome is doing so well! She seems so happy, we went back to teach the restoration again and helped explained some things, I guess she's been writing down notes shes been taking from reading the pamphlets and stuff so I was way glad! She came to church and everyone was so sweet with her. They told her about an activity were having this week and she could bring a dessert if she wanted and her face lit up with a big smile, she got so excited! It was way cute. I'm so glad she's doing so well. It makes me feel like I am doing my job as I watch her continue to progress.

K so I want to tell you about the ways of door knocking in Spain. So everyone lives in apartments right? But the main door is locked and you can only get in the building to knock if someone will buzz you in. Sometimes it's hard cuz you ring someones bell, tell them who you are, and they reject you right there before even getting in the building. Buuut something I've learned is the best way to do it is find a building that has 10 or more floors... so there's at least 40 buttons to hit.. then you hit all the buttons at the same time and wait.. haha everyone starts saying si? quien es? at the same time.. buttt if you're lucky, someone will just buzz you in the building without asking who you are.. then youve got free reign to talk to everyone once you're in. It's super fun actually. We find the strangest people knocking doors. The best is when they open the door and look at you with terror  and say "oyyy!" (who would ever be scared of me, really, let's be honest) and then they hurry and shut the door before you can say anything. It's pretty funny sometimes. BUT the other day, we knocked the second door in a building and this guy answered. He told us his name is Max and he's from Russia but has lived here for years. (he speaks English) We got talking and he ended up inviting us in his piso (that's the first time we've ever gotten in a piso thus far haha door knocking isn't super successful here) We talked about the church a little and he said people always told him in his country that God wasn't important, but he knows it's something he needs in his life... so he told us we can come back to talk more. So cross your fingers! He really seems prepared. It's just cool how God always puts people in our path that are ready to change their lives. There are many people that are so against religion, like it's a thing of the past... but there's still hope out there, still people searching for the truth and just don't know where to find it, just like the scriptures say. It's way cool to see the words of the scriptures fulfilled in my missionary work here.

Yesterday we had another lesson with Samuel (18 year old from Colombia) he's always got super deep questions about doctrine. So we decided we were going to reteach the restoration and focus on where the authority from our church comes from. He had a lot of questions and some was hard to explain in Spanish haha but I managed. I honestly think he will be baptized someday. He is so knowledgeable about the bible. He's reading in the Book of Mormon right now, and maybe when he understands the authority more fully next time, we will start to make some progress with him. He's so good, he will be the best member someday!

Well, those are some highlights for the week.  I know that God loves us. He is so aware of our every need. I know He is just waiting to bless us if we are willing to ask. I feel His love every day, I couldn't be here if I didn't. The Savior is our Redeemer. I love this gospel with my whole heart. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for helping me to get on a mission. It has changed my life and I am forever grateful. Some days are hard for sure, but I know God gives us challenges because He loves us. Its the only way to help us grow. The gospel is so true.

San Sebastian - Week Ten

HEY FAMILY! First off, CONGRATS TYSON AND SHANNON! Those pictures and videos of Makenna are absolutely adorable. I'm sittin here freakin out. She looks so perfect! And shes got the perfect name. I definitely teared up when I saw her full name again. Gahhhh I love that she has my name so so much, WORK IT GIRL WORK IT. haha. I'm so glad shes healthy and that everything went well, I have been praying for you guys all week! What a blessing. Give her lots of love from me por favor.

SOOOO in other good news this week... We had a baptism! Onome got baptized on Saturday! Let me tell you though, getting all of it pulled together was super crazy. I wasn't sure if we were gonna make it through the week. So like I said, Onome wanted to be baptized in the ocean. Luckily we had some really sweet members that offered to look for a calm beach to have it at and offered to drive some people up there. At first, the Bishop wasn't super keen on the beach idea, but we won him over. Anyway, we had to do a bunch of planning with who could come and who could baptize her and who could drive and who would pick her up and drop her off and where she would change clothes.. Literally it was wild. Then we had to figure out everything with her interview and coordinating with the district leader and her interview and we were running wild all week.. But we got it all figured out! Saturday morning, a member picked us and Onome up at her house and took us to a beach that's close to France. It was pretty cold, but luckily not raining. It was only us, Onome, her daughter Johanna, the other elders, and four other members. She looked so gorgeous in her white dress. And she was such a champion for getting in that cold water.. in November haha. I don't think I could have done it. One of the elders baptized her. Elder Green.. actually he knows Cooper! He's from Gilbert, Arizona. Way cool. I forgot to mention that ages ago. Anyway, everything was way smooth. Once she came out we wrapped her all up in warm blankets and drove to a members house to change and go back home! She was super super happy. It was a really incredible experience. She couldn't stop smiling after. While I was there I was thinking, man, there is no where I would rather be than in Spain, (almost in France) at the beach, watching my sweet Onome get baptized. It was the best first baptism ever. When we were walking back to the car after her baptism, Onome told me how a while back she had been praying to God to be baptized because she knew it was important. But she didn't know what to do because everyone spoke Spanish. But then one day we showed up... what a blessing. The gospel is true.

Good news is, she came on time to church on Sunday to be confirmed and everything too! Everything literally couldn't have gone better. It was perfect. I am excited for her, she really needed it in her life.

Anyway, that was the highlight of the week. In other news, (haha I sound so weird and formal saying that..) Cristina (our investigator from Spain) is progressing really well. We talked last night about the baptism interview questions cuz she has a goal for a baptism in two weeks. She felt really good about all the questions. I think she was actually surprised at how ready she really is. Her only hesitancy is with whether or not The Book of Mormon is true and if Joseph Smith is a prophet. Which really, is perfect. She is so set with every thing else. I think it finally clicked for her that she's gotta pray to figure it out for herself. So that's just awesome. I am way excited for her. Shes really good at keeping up on her reading. So keep her in your prayers that she will keep progressing and will get an answer! Anyway, it was such a good week!

I love you so much family! I'm so excited we've got one more little munchkin in our family. She is so precious. Thanks for keeping me involved in the whole thing! I love you! The gospel is so true. Live it, and you'll find out for yourself. God is just waiting to bless us, we just have to ask. Besos for dayzzzz fammmm!

San Sebastian - Week Nine

HEY FAMILY! So just to start, sometimes me and my comp talk about our families (naturally duhh) ps she literally knows EVERY ONE OF YOU. Also I told her she's coming to visit us the summer after I get back home. So start preparing for her.

Anyway, we talk about our families and I realized something. I hope this comes out right.. so I really loved you all a ton before my mission, like as much as I thought was possible. But ever since being on a mission, somehow I have found that I love you guys all so much more than I even thought was possible, ya know? Like before, it was my arms stretched around my back (mom you know what I mean) but now it's like I have new inspector Frassy arms that are even longer. Haha that sounded so dumb. But for real, I love you guys a whole ton. I pray for you all the time. Gosh you're the best.

Anyway, we had some GREAT stuff this week. First off, we saw Onome again! We went over and she told us she found work for a couple days, which is good cuz she hasn't had any money. We decided to read with her in the Book of Mormon in Mosiah 24 (basically one of my favorite chapters ever) and we read about how it talks about how God delivers Alma and his people from captivity after they are told they aren't allowed to pray and all that (read it, its the best) anyway, it talks about how God knows of the covenant the people made with them (baptism from a few chapters before) and totally delivers them from their afflictions. So we talked with her about how when we make covenants, we are blessed. God wants to help us all the time, and by making covenants, He can bless us more and more. So I asked her how she felt about baptism and..... SHE SAID SHE WANTS TO BE BAPTIZED. Best day ever, for real. Here's the catch though.. she told us she wants to be baptized in the ocean though instead. My comp and I both looked at each other and I was like, well my brother was baptized in a river.. so I don't see why not! So how's this Saturday sound? She doesn't seem to mind that its November and that it'll be super cold.. so baptism on the beach it is! We were both so excited. Oh man. THIS SATURDAY.

So on Sunday we talked to our Bishop and our district leader to get permission for sure, and they were both fine with it. We have some super sweet members in our ward that are looking for a nice tranquillo beach to have it at so there won't be other people around. I am so so excited. Please pray for Onome though, every time plans come up for baptism, Satan works super hard to make it not happen. Pray for good weather haha. So this week will be crazy planning and all that. We're going to see her Tuesday and Thursday to run over everything and interview her and all that. She really needs this in her life. She struggles so much. It would be such a blessing.

Another sweet thing that happened is we got to see our Spaniard friend Christina again! We haven't seen her in so long cuz she went to visit her sister and then she wouldn't answer our calls or anything when she got back so we thought she fell off the earth. But the other day she texted us and said she was free to meet with us, she had just been busy. We saw her last night and read that same Mosiah chapter with her.. guess what? We set a baptism fecha with her too for the end of this month! My comp and I felt so blessed. We have been working so so hard to get people to progress, so it's nice to see good things happening.

Also just for the record, getting people to church is like trying to gather frogs, they are all over the place haha. Man, it's tough. We arrange for rides and to meet people places and remind and remind.. but sometimes, it just doesn't work out. It's kind of a bummer. But you just gotta do the best you can, right? We're workin hard.

Anyway, keep Onome in your prayers this week as we get ready for her baptism! I hope everything works out well! I LOVE YOU FAMILY!

San Sebastian - Week Eight

HI FAMILY!
Ok first off, those videos you sent were the freakin bomb. I literally have the best family in the entire world. Great goodness sakes. Alsoooo, yesterday my comp and i were talking about how in our pre earth life (meaning life before the mish) we were funny.. and how we hope were still funny on the mish. So ima try to spice up my emails more ya know? add some flava flavvve. Just so you remember that I'm still funny I guess. haha. Awko taco.

So here's some highlights from the week.
One of our investigators (Samuel... a different one than i have been writing about.. this one hasn't met with us for a month cuz he has this temporary job and no time) anyway, he called us just to check up and see how the work of the Lord was going. You know its a good day when that happens. Haha. He is done with this temp job in a few days so were planning on teaching him again. Hes got a baptismal fecha for the end of November. SOOO cross your fingers for him. I'm excited to see.

Oh so the other day, we called Erica cuz we had a cita with her and she was no where to be seen and she told me she something but i had NO idea what she said. i probably said que three or four times and she mumbled something back.. and then hung up on me haha. then she wouldn't answer when we called back. so idk.. still trying to learn the whole Spanish thing ya know? i guess the missionaries were teaching her a while ago and had a hard time getting her to keep commitments. but we will keep trying

Oh so we did some good door knocking one night. I love door knocking. I think its pretty funny. Everyone lives in apartments though so sometimes its hard to even get someone to open the main lobby door for you.. but we got in one building and knocked on this guys door. he looked at us through the peep hole and asked who it was. my comp told him were missionaries and he told us we were confused. haha. so she said it again, very slowly and clearly, and he told us we were confused again. way funny. then we went to another lady's door and she asked who it was, through the peep hole.. and when we told her and she shouts way loud "es que.. soy MUY MUY CATOLICO!!!" haha... alrighty then.. knocking doors isn't super successful here, so we usually try to find people other ways, but the times that we do knock doors, i love it. its always an adventure.

We had a ward activity this week and they played this game where everyone had to hold hands and squeeze the persons hand next to you a certain number of times and pass the signal. There were like 20 people at this activity btw. Anyway, somehow I got put right next to this guy from Ecuador with hair all the way down to his waist.. and his wife, with the same length of hair on my other side.. sometimes you just gotta laugh. its times like those when i wish you all could just see how funny life as a missionary is sometimes. I absolutely love it haha.

Oh one highlight from this week was that we finally got a hold of onome! we went to see her and shes really struggling. She has no work, she is about to be kicked out of her piso, she doesn't have residency, and shes out of money. I feel so bad for her. She is struggling to get a new piso cuz people wont rent them to her without work. She feels so alone, she was crying. She feels like God has abandoned her. My heart broke right then and there. We said a prayer together. I feel so bad that she feels like God isn't there. He is. I know He is. He lets us struggle to test our faith. But He never abandons us. I hope we can help her to see that more. She has such great faith, I know she can push through her trial. Shes such a sweetheart. I hope we can help.

Also we are teaching two Spaniards right now! Its a big deal, that never happens. One is named Asun, shes a friend of a member. The other we found in the metro. Named Rosa. I complimented her on her scarf and we started talking and so I'm excited to see where it goes! We have two other new ladies too from Nicaragua (Guadalupe... and idk the other ones name... the names are so hard to remember! if you think you struggle, mom, wait till you have to remember Spanish names! its tough!) anyway, we gave them copies of the BOM yesterday so we will see. We had a really good week, I'm excited to see where this week goes! hopefully more progress with everyone.

I love being out here, I learn so much everyday. There's no way i could have grown this much in this short of time without being on a mission. My testimony grows everyday, and we have such crazy fun experiences that just don't happen in real life ya know? I love this gospel with my whole heart. I love studying it. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for this experience. The gospel is true. It has blessed my life so much, always cherish it. Share it all you can!!

PS  I'm about to send pics of our preparation day today. this guy in our ward named Juan Carlos took us to his pueblo where he grew up to see the view and all that. its real close to France! it was way cool.. except it rained and was super foggy.. so the pictures are pretty hilarious.. I'll send them onward ever onward.. haha I LOVE YOU FAMILY!!
